Since receiving her M.A. degree from Hardin-Simmons University in Marriage and Family Therapy, she has worked in both inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. At ACTSolutions, she works with adults, adolescents, couples and families, and offers play therapy for children. She also leads women's groups exploring relational challenges and spiritual issues impacting the lives of women.

Debby believes that the development of healthy relational skills is extremely important for marital and family relationships and for emotional well-being. She founded Authentic Christian Therapeutic Solutions to aid in the emotional and spiritual growth of individuals, couples and families. Debby is a presenter for public and professional organizations. She speaks on various topics including: communication, marriage, issues relating to children and adolescents, and mental health issues. Most recently she has developed Back to the BASEX: Beyond the Birds and the Bees, a program for educating, equiping and empowering parents on how to talk to children and teens about sex and sexuality from a Biblically based approach.

Debby is married; she and her husband, Ryan, live in Grapevine, Texas.

Blake Mitchell, Ph.D.

Dr. Mitchell currently lives with his wife and daughter in Frisco, Texas.  He began his local practice in June 2006 and currently has offices in North Dallas and Grapevine, Texas.  In addition to private practice, he enjoys his position as an adjunct faculty member at Dallas Theological Seminary in the counseling department.  

Prior to the move to Frisco in 2006, Dr. Mitchell was an active duty officer and a psychologist in the United States Navy from 2002 to 2006.  While in the Navy, Dr. Mitchell served as a psychologist at The National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland for two years and then transferred to the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), an aircraft carrier stationed in Everett, Washington for the remainder of his service.  He enjoyed a variety of experiences including training at a world-class hospital in NNMC and two deployments on board the USS Abraham Lincoln.

Specializations: include general counseling issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief & loss; pre-marital and marriage counseling; and sexual therapy counseling. 

Experience: I have counseling experience in both inpatient and outpatient treatment environments and utilize an integrative counseling approach that considers the client's biological, social, psychological, and spiritual dimensions.
